Important health warning.

Postby Shootist » 15 Jun 2015, 8:42am

The World Health Organisation has warned against drinking camel urine as it attempts to limit the latest outbreak of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (Mers).

If even just one life is saved it will be worthwhile.

Won't you get thirsty?
Suppose that this room is a lift. The support breaks and down we go with ever-increasing velocity.
Let us pass the time by performing physical experiments...

From the Indie link in the OP:-
The WHO guidance was issued in response to the infection of a 75-year-old man thousands of miles to the west, in Oman, last week. Mers, caused by a new strain of coronavirus, can affect people and animals, and one theory is that the syndrome started in animals before making the jump to humans.

Could that be termed as the trickle down effect?

And that settle's it I'm never going to buy a Hyundia or a Kia,too risky :? .

Yes you get all kinds on committees.
I remember chatting to a Wigan councillor who sat on a committee to determine why the town's huge Mesnes Park wasn't being used to it's full potential, and what could be done to attract more people in.
A resolution was put forward to buy a Gondola for the park lake, which was seconded by another member,on condition they bought two so they could breed :?
I digress...

Reminds me of the graffiti rhyme scrawled above the urinals in a pub:

Yes, it is the worst you fear
In here you only rent the beer.
