IIRC, these were taken from a bridge near the Millenium Bridge in York.

I cycled past this sign taken from a bridge over the Leeds Liverpool canal for a couple of years before I noticed what it said in it's reflection in the water.

Here's a link explaining it's history :-

A little bit further up the towpath is the Leeds industrial museum in the old Armley Mills building, picture taken from the bridge over the canal; a really interesting

place to look round. Only two or three miles up the towpath out of Leeds and well worth a visit.

More of a view to the bridge, not everyones cup of tea, but where I'll always feel most at home, overlooking the Thames

Teddington lock has a fine suspension bridge too. Shame I didn't get more of it in the picture

Nice pictures Ian ,a few years I rode from Tower Bridge the other way down to the Thames Barrier, always loads to see on the river. I used to repair quite a few cranes down

that way many moons ago, I remember the smelliest place I ever had to work was there ; Gartons Glucose , next to Battersea Bridge as I recall, an awful smell for a sweet

product .

A friend captured this yesterday shortly after I left her on the English side of the Severn Bridge as she does her LEJoG.

This weekend, even though it was pretty cloudy, you get to see the whole sun in Somerset!

I'm getting a 404 error.
But I'm betting I know the bridge well :)

I'd rode the area loads in my mountain biking days...how I never found it back then I'll never know. Mustn't have been adventurous enough :)
