Thank you for contacting VisitScotland.
The definitive information would come from the local council, which is Highland Council. There is a Mallaig Access Point contactable by telephone at
https://www.highland.gov.uk/directory_record/765336/mallaig_access_point/category/481/service_and_access_points
Alternatively, you can contact the council through an online general enquiry form:
https://self.highland.gov.uk/AchieveFor ... inPrompt=1
We would recommend that you browse the information found at the following:
viewtopic.php?t=113336
https://www.calmac.co.uk/ports/mallaig
The local experts at our nearest VisitScotland iCentre at Fort William should be able to advise on this. You can contact the iCentre directly at the page below:
https://www.visitscotland.com/info/serv ... re-p333001
We hope this information is useful and helps with your enquiry. We look forward to welcome you soon.

Thank you for getting in touch with the Highland Council.
We currently have two public car parks in Mallaig.
1. , West Bay, which is on the left hand side as you drive into Mallaig and
2. East Bay which is further round. If you take a right at the roundabout and follow the road it will take you to East Bay – both are currently free.
Kind Regards
