26" Surly LHT 56cm Frame Available Soon

Post by simonhill »

Not sure if I'm allowed to post this here, but thought it might be useful to anyone thinking of building a good tourer this spring.

In a few weeks I will have a 56 LHT frame in black for sale. About 4 years old, but hardly used. Uncut steerer and it will have the headset. About £250.

It was my mate's bike and I inherited it after he got killed in Oz last year. It's a bit too big for me so I have bought a smaller frame and will transfer most of the stuff across.

This will mean I have 2 LHTs. My current beloved well used and knocked about longhaul tourer and a shiny new XT equiped one. How lucky can a a chap get.

If anyone is interested, post here or PM me

Since it was your mate's bike, you should keep it on a wall.
It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best,
since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them.
Thus you remember them as they actually are...
