Re: Blacks Sale 20% off code
Ends 1 May.
Or check the link to "current voucher codes" in the checkout page at Blacks or Millets.
But there will be another one soon after. They never sell products at full price, as far as I can see.

Re: Blacks Sale 20% off code
In further sale news, Cotswold Outdoor have 20% off tents and sleeping equipment until the end of tomorrow. Some reasonable savings are available, e.g. the Akto for £420 instead of £529. Was hoping to get a deal on a new MSR tent but they don't sell the one I want.
Re: Blacks Sale 20% off code
The 20% off code also works with Millets ( same owner )

Bought a nice fleece in Millets yesterday, £45 down to £30. Looked in Blacks too. They were also offering a load of things on the wall behind the counter half price with your purchase. ie £40 10x40 binoculars @ £40 down to £20. I think the high street is hurting a bit.

Touring on a bicycle is a great way to explore and appreciate the countryside and towns you pass through. Make a difference...

yes I think Milletts/Blacks are in trouble? as I keep getting emails about discount codes.
Re: Blacks Sale 20% off code
No, they are simply one of those firms who never actually sell stuff at the list price for any noticeable period. I've just ordered two more tents for the Scouts. I paid £64 each. They are listed at £110. I've been buying this model for years, and I've never paid any more than I did this time. We've currently got something like 14 of them, and I may have bought a couple of dozen in total.
Re: Blacks Sale 20% off code
Also branded as ultimate outdoors these days with a good click and collect from lots of places.
Name this tent please drossal and let us benefit from your scout tests.

Re: Blacks Sale 20% off code
It's the Eurohike Avon. It suits what we want to do, and is an OK psuedo-lightweight tent. Not particularly robust, but the Scouts are hard on zips, so I've tended to buy a cheaper model that we can afford to write off regularly. Some other leaders report no zip failures, so maybe we're hard on tents.
I like it for the large storage space under the fly.
Not sure whether that's a recommendation. Many other groups use Vangos and other slightly more expensive models. For a real hike tent, I think the Avon would be a bit heavy.
