What would people recommend regarding an up and coming holiday with the wife to be in Sicily.........
Take my own Road bike in a bike case?
Hire a bike out there......still like the idea of taking my own!
Or purchase a cheapish Airnimal chameleon? (Like this idea as will future proof holidays to come),just need to source one;)

You will need a place to leave your bike case.
Or pack the bike in a cardboard bike box obtained from a shop, once arrived there dispose correctly of the box, then obtain another one from a shop right there
