Very nice, enjoy the trip. Be interesting to see what the bike looks like at the end and how the bike/kit evolves, if at all.

It breaks my heart just thinking about that. It will not look like this I bet, but as long as it does me the 20k miles, I'm OK with that.

That's the "out of the box" Sig spec, I take it? Were you tempted to change anything?

Actually, I started with the frame and picked all the things I wanted. The Signature section on the KOGA website, lets you choose. After completing the spec I wanted online, I then called into the dealership in Leeds and went through it again with the shop owner. We got the frame size right after I perched on another in the shop.

The Brookes B17 is from my old bike which I have had for over a year now, so just had that fitted in the shop. I chose the Atalanta handlebars because I get cramp and pins and needles, so wanted more variation on hand position. I don't know what an off the peg KOGA Signature looks like to be honest, or even if there is one. I do know that you can buy a completed spec, and I think that is Worldtraveller, where as this is the Worldtraveller S.

I struggled to decide on what gearing I wanted for many months, but felt sure the Rohloff and Belt was the way to go, we will see.

Ah, I was deceived by its resemblance to the spec that appears on dealer websites, didn't realise that it was configurable to the degree it is.

That must be the best colour bike I've seen. I went neutral (preferring black); but having seen your bike, if I ever need a respray ... that's the colour.

Looks fantastic.

It's not really yours until it has some battle scars.

Very very nice indeed.
I'm a Rohloff man myself; on a Thorn Raven.

What size cogs front and rear?
I use 38 x 17. Good for loaded touring; a little under powered for around town.

How about some info on planned route/destinations?

Many thanks Matt

will you be taking a spare rubber band? Or are they readily available? how long do they last?
