Thank you Stanley. I was a bit unsure of what your trip was about but had a look at one of your blog links without translating it and loved the tree and bird photos and the cycling infrastructure is very like a lot of what I expect to see in Europe. As I haven’t visited your region it was particularly interesting to see all the practical photos too-I also try to do that with my blogs and have photos of the practical stuff on logistics, infrastructure, food, hotels, what the local housing and so on looks like, getting the bike on the train and not just the scenery.

No I’ve now found the translate button, who is this new greenway project aimed at-locals or tourists from within China or is there an expectation that people will come from further afield?

It's glad to have your response about my greenways blog. The greenway project plan owned by the China government, not only transforms the city's natural ecosystem, but also enhances the quality of life of residents, enhances the interaction between people and the environment, and constantly creates an ideal living environment. Local people and tourists can take part in using of this greenway facility, as I think that tourists can't enough greenway information, so I try to share all my past and future experience in greenway for them.

The outbreak of coronavirus, or Covid-19, has had a significant impact on my cycling plan to China, but in Hong Kong a new cycle track linking Yuen Long with Sheung Shui has been opened at the end of September for public use, marking the completion of the 60km-long bikeway backbone between Tuen Mun and Ma On Shan.
