Blogger is free and is the easiest platform on which to blog. There are others, all of which have their advantages, but they are a bit more involved.

Blogger may be zero-cost but it isn't free. It's very easy to lock out disabled users (reCaptcha should die), there's almost no support for bugfixing and it's difficult to move your blog to a better host later. Wordpress is far better, but I'm surprised there's no bike-specific social blog network thing yet. (If I had infinite time...)

Are there any good bike blog aggregators or networks? (Sometimes called planets, like http://planet.alug.org.uk/ is for one local computer club.)
