You won't get a bike on the buses and might not get a bike on many of the trains. Train fares in the UK are pretty low if you go off-peak and book ahead, in spite of much noise in the press.

Tried the website a couple of times for European train tickets (Neither with full size bike), one was the same price as anywhere else and the other I found it cheaper elsewhere, with the advice from the man in seat 61.

I like travelling and part of the pleasure is the planning and research. For those who don't and are looking for a simple booking option Go Euro is probably one of the best, it's also good to see the train/coach/plane options laid out next to each other.

Lack of ferry options and bizarrely not including time taken between final airport and destination both limit its usefulness IMO.
