Re: Family cycling trails in the UK: readers’ tips
Arguably they are a good thing.
Traffic free routes where a whole family can get out on their bikes and enjoy themselves.
Unfortunately some people get upset because like a cinema, theme park or other destination they involve driving to get there,
There can also be issues and conflicts between different groups. many cyclists want to travel faster than you can with inexperienced cyclists and children meandering on the route.
Finally there is congestion!!!!!
The Camel trail has multiple hire outlets and there can be hundreds off the trail on a good summer day during the holiday season
