Previously the only way to transport your bike fully assembled on French TGVs was to reserve at a French rail station or ring them direct (The British number has been discontinued)- Bike reservations need to be made at the same time as booking tickets.
This has now changed. If you go to oui.sncf.fr look carefully at your search options and you can search and book the option to reserve a place for your bike: This afternoon I have reserved tickets for me and a friend with bikes to travel by Intercity from Paris to Clermont Ferrant , then Toulouse to Paris Montparnasse on the new High speed line as well as Paris Nord to Calais (Also TGV) .
Bikes on French Trains
Re: Bikes on French Trains
SNCF has finally caught with Captain Train that has been able to book bikes on TGVs for at least 3 years to my knowledge (and use of the system)

Re: Bikes on French Trains
This could be done last year provided one used the French version of the SNCF web site. Hence I am now get the chance to test my French reading SNCF marketing email e mails in French from using the French site to book bike + Seat last summer.
