They open for breakfast at 8am.

As posted above, many at 7am - for example the Square Peg just the other side of New St station in Birmingham. Though you won't get your beer any earlier...

As well as being obsessed with Trowbridge, that one doesn't show recent assimilations and still shows pubs that were shut or sold years ago.

You don't really need to know where they are to boycott them, or are you planning on standing outside with a placard?

That's a misunderstanding: it has only just reopened but it was The White Hart from around 1800 until 2015, but the new owner insists recent history like the name must be obliterated in favour of legends from the 1700s - much as he wants for UK politics!

Not a misunderstanding, as i understand it. I understand that it has only just opened as a spoons. Or crap pub as you insust on calling them. I did know that it had been a pub before, in fact that is part of its attraction for me. So seems to me that they have saved a pub?
Can I ask what your opinion was of the other pub?
Why did it close?

Just me or is it always Remainers who jump onto threads shouting about boycotting establishments based on the referendum. Not aware of any time a Brexit supporter suggested boycotting something because it was a Remainers place. Are they bad losers?

As for the question - I'm a fan of the Spoons. Good beer and Ok food for not much cash. I regularly use them when out riding locally.

For anyone cycling through Glasgow I'll nominate the Esquire House on the A82 Great Western road. An easy route going west towards loch Lomond. Big glass windows vat the front to watch the bike while eating and drinking.

It's easy to find examples.

On topic, the Lynd Creche in Horsham has nearby bike racks plus outside seating in a nice(ish) pedestrianised space, though I wouldn't wish to subject any of the fine folk here to the experience of actually going into the place.

One problem I have with chains is that as a vegetarian I limit myself to a small part of the menu, and if I end up looking at that same menu too often I find myself thinking "Oh well. looks like it has to be the veggie lasagne again". So I can't imagine wanting to do Wetherspoons more than once a week.

They do a veggie breakfast - and according to Somerset Maugham 'If you want to eat well in England, eat three breakfasts a day'.

the cyclespoons one links to strava and I think you can load it to a GPS from there, though it isn't something I've tried.
If you just want a POI file to load to a Garmin there's several available, here's the first one google found;

Huh? Where in this thread is a remainer doing that?

Anyway, it's not so much a boycott as its owner having told us not to use them:
Paulatic wrote:I distinctly recall Tim Martin telling remain voters not to cross his threshold. I wouldn’t like to upset him.

I stopped going in them before that, anyway.

The accusation is doubly ironic as Brexit supporter Tim Martin has just this week announced Wetherspoon's boycott of EU products! Bad winner?

Thanks for the link above PH - will check out when on better keyboard. Of course the litmus test will be whether it includes the Whalebone, for it's new. Looks like a potentially interesting source of other POIs as well.
