British airways bike charges

Having read the somewhat complicated baggage allowance terms etc on the British Airways site I am non the wiser of the cost. Perhaps I'm not the brightest person on the planet. Anyway can someone tell me how much it costs to take a bike in a bike box, approx 30kg on a BA flight from LHR to european destinations. I dont anticipate taking any other hold luggage, just a carry on bag. (I could call them but by the time I found the customer services number they were closed. (8pm))

I think you will be charged £65. On economy tickets one hold bag is free but only up to 23kg. So you may be charged the overweight fee of £65

Thats the way I read it... pity they couldnt just say it in more simple terms like other carriers
