Hi,
Im looking for some advice, I will be taking a small group from London to Casablanca in aid of Great Ormond St Hospital, and was wondering which type of bike would be required? Although I would prefer to take a road bike I'm assuming a touring bike would be more suitable? What are road conditions like? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Optimum bike for London to Casablanca ?
Re: Optimum bike for London to Casablanca ?
The type of bike will depend on the trip...
While you tell us start and end points .. there is nothing about the trip itself...
Carrying on the bike? All clothing, camping, water +food? Nothing, fully supported with backup transport vehicles.
Roads? Sticking to paved roads the whole way. Taking some unsealed roads. Taking as many challenging tracks as possible.
The answer will vary wildly from a light weight racing bike to a full on expedition tourer. Take your pick.
