Four War Tour

Post by captain offensive »

In previous years I've mostly followed various 'organised' tour routes (Avenue Verte, Lone Cymru etc) but this summer I created my own, the "Four War Tour" taking a 5 day ride starting in Brussels and heading back to Dunkirk via Waterloo, The Somme, Agincourt, Ypres and Passchendaele, and the Dunkirk Beaches.

If that sounds like an interesting ride I wrote about it at:

:-)

Just read your trip report on another forum and it is probably the best, most in-depth and informative trip report I have read. I recognise many of the places as my wife and I went on a four day coach trip over armistice weekend to the various war cemeteries, museums and Menin Gate which we visited on three different occasions along with Tyne Cot cemetery.

Thanks for taking the time and trouble to share it with us.
