I believe she is sponsored by the bike manufacturer and by the luggage manufacturer, so take equipment selections with a bit of a pinch of salt.

Apparently the (Shimano) electric shifting Specialized gave her caused issues because of battery life.

Thanks for posting this - I enjoyed reading it all - what an achievement too - 235/day average is awesome in my view.
Without my stoker, every trip would only be half a journey
