Talking of Wetherspoons .................... by far the most of them are converted from existing buildings. The one in Liskeard - The King Doniert - is on the site of a petrol station. They've built it with no layby for the delivery lorries to pull in at, so they block the main street right next to a busy mini roundabout.
How they got planning permission for it, I don't know.
