Well if we start at sea level and end at sea level and if what goes up must come done my statement must be right.
It doesn't work for Jogle though as it starts at sea level and ends 200ft up a cliff so Jogle is uphill

Folks .... time for some planning ... we have a van, we have a driver .. I need to arrange pickups ..... The extreme southerners / westerners seem to have their plans in place .... so ... who needs a lift to the start and from the finish .... needs a lift ....... 5 places available ...

And today’s daft question: I’m guessing there’s transport for everyone to get back to the start (where ever we leave the cars) from the finish....
I’m going to pay Phil (our driver’s) camping fee for the Monday night.

I'd like one if possible - pick up and drop off. Preston Tickled Trout? Haven't booked an overnight stay on the Monday yet. Waiting to see what was happening. Could make a pick up and drop off in Sheffield if it was easier.

My son in law is bringing John B and I to the start and picking us up at the end.
The pub for a meal the first night is a couple of mile from our stop this could also be the case on the second night perhaps backup could ferry us all to and from them

Any chance that I can be picked up and dropped off at Junction 33 on the M6. (That's 2 junctions up from "Jon100" pickup.)
Also I have not booked the Monday night yet so that's to sort out where and whatever is convenient.

At the moment I make it that there are a total 9 riders.
I estimate there are 4 (Flash, Paulatic, Jon100, Cycler.) that will need transport back from "finish" plus Chris and Landsurfer. ??
Can "Flash" let us know his expected arrangements.

Oldman & John'B have their own arrangements in place as does Nick. ??

Need confirmation or corrections of the above please
Either through here or "whatsapp" or email or PM.
You'll never know if you don't try it.

I'm coming up on the Monday bringing Phil (the driver) and staying at the St Bees campsite, I think Nick will be there as well.
Both me and Phil will need to get back to collect my car (from the start) after the ride.....

Depending on weather I might cycle back or a lift out of Newcastle or a lift as far as Once Brewed or as far as Carlisle or I have train option too. So basically not critical if it causes problems :D

Reality check;
Pete and the driver, own transport to start, require return to start.
Nick, own transport.
John and Ken, own transport.

SO, ... David and Chris drive north picking up John and Alistair on the way.
Dave and Chris, drive back after the ride taking Pete +1, John and Alistair and Paul back across the country to various locations ....

That sound about right ??
