I want to cycle in two weeks NCN 47. But I have found https://bikewalesrides.blogspot.com/201 ... -epic.html.
There is reported, that 10 feet high fence, which is not passable in any way interrupt NCN 47.
But there is not reported, whether this fence is temporally or stationary.
Do anyone know, whether this fence still exist or was meanwhile dismantled?
NCN 47 interrupted?
Re: NCN 47 interrupted?
The "Hike to Resolven" RwGPS plot included there suggests that they left Route 47, then got back on it after a mile, then left it again. I do wonder whether their GPS may have let them down - surely I'm not the only person to have suffered that?

Re: NCN 47 interrupted?
Because of your post I took a closer look to this area in an editor for openstreetmap. The reporting person seems loosing NCN 47 and was hindered on a way not belonging to NCN 47 by the mentioned fence.
