Coast and Castles

Post by stevepert »

I'm looking to ride the Coast and Castles route this summer. Has anyone got any old copies of the maps or guide books they'd be willing to pass on? I'm having problems getting hold of them cheaply. I'm happy to pay postage.

Also any up-to-date intel on riding the route on a road bike would be great :)

Northumberland tourist board do a county wide cycling map which has the route on. It has some minor deviations to avoid some fast roads.

You may want to detour just south of Berwick. The path is non-existant, just some signs on a muddy bit of grass along a cliff top.
