It is the Centre for Mathmatical Sciences, Cambridge University, located off Wilberforce Road.

Well done! It is indeed - Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics where Stephen Hawking worked.

They do education / teaching, and research there, but they also focus on applying mathematics in a commercial context, and some of their work has been applied to medical imaging. If I had said it was just "educational" I would have missed out the commercial application of mathematics but maybe that was a bit of a misleading answer - sorry!
I was trying to work out how to refer to things being "brief" and "time" to help get to Stephen Hawking's Brief History of Time. If all else failed I was going to say the "penny might drop" if you focused on the building at the bottom right - which is the Isaac Newton Institute - groan!
Your go.

A Google search for 'Foxy John's Bar' will lead to an establishment in New York, USA.
This Foxy John's bar, hardware shop and bicycle shop is on this side of the Atlantic, but where?

I think your picture is quite old? Or very recent?

The image was taken in 2008, but I have just looked at a Streetview image dated a few months ago and can see no major changes.

Well done, and welcome to a new participant.
Yes, it is in Main Street, Dingle a.k.a. An Sraid Mhor, An Daingean.
(While we were there, the local council had removed all the 'Dingle' signs and replaced them with 'An Daingean' ones, and grafittists were reversing the process. I gathered there was a dispute between the people of the town itself and those of the surrounding rural area, which elected most of the councillors).

I was puzzled by the Bal... sign someone referred to for a shop in Dingle, so I tried to find another image with it on, but couldn't.

I had taken that to be a joke based on the number of Irish towns with names beginning 'Bal..'

I'm a bit sceptical about the wisdom of putting important safety information on bilingual signs with the less common and more verbose language first. I went through a few ARAFACH NAWR signs painted on the road, missing the last word while trying to comprehend the first two. If you're going fast there's barely time to read the whole lot.
As far as place names go, I'd be perfectly happy if most of the English ones went.
