Crazyguyonabike
Crazyguyonabike
Anyone know why this site got pulled of if it'll ever come back? Genuinely dmsaddened to see it no longer exists!
Re: Crazyguyonabike
It just loaded okay for me and I can access the blogs. I had trouble logging in recently, so perhaps there are problems somewhere.
Re: Crazyguyonabike
Ah just found it, Google search wasn't bringing it up. Phew!

Neil the site owner has blocked it from appearing in Google.

Re: Crazyguyonabike
I get a link on Google if I type Crazyguy.
Maybe remembered, but it shows up.

I just looked at it and whilst the site still exists he reports that his upcoming tour may well be his last.
There are over three million pictures on his site!...
cheers

It's an amazing source of information and inspiration. I learned a lot from it before my first bicycle tour, and have 4 blogs on there
Re: Crazyguyonabike
It's one of my favourite websites! So good for inspiration. I remember there was a dispute between him and Chris Pountney a while back over his brilliant round the world blog on there. Hope the site keeps growing for a long time

Duckduckgo finds it.

Any idea why?
Seems daft to block the biggest source of potential readers

I think he doesn't like Google's wider actions, shall we say.

Re: Crazyguyonabike
I have a decade of touring blogs on there .
Its not playing ball tonight on Chrome....I'm not sure what Neil's up to because I can't get in to read his reasons. He relies on donations to not only keep ads off it but also make a living, it just seems an odd decision but I know he has strong feelings about a few things.
Edit just got in...
