Car parking in Fort William

So next week we are off on a 10 day tour of the Islands starting in Fort William. Im looking to leave my car in Fort William for the duration. Can someone please recommend where to leave our car free of charge ?

This is a very old thread viewtopic.php?t=14736 with some ideas.

If parking free of charge is your priority why not start your tour at one of the ferry terminals with free parking?

Can't remember the details but the big one at the south end of town was very well priced as are most Scottish car parks. Not free but reasonable.
