Llanidloes B&B recommendation
Llanidloes B&B recommendation
Having just completed another mini-tour through Wales, Holyhead to Abergavenny, with camping gear on board and struggling on some of the ascents, I am thinking of shedding some weight and using B&B or cheap hotels on my next trip, may be Craven Arms-Llanidloes-Aberystwyth-train to Criccieth-Caernarfon-Holyhead. There are Premier Inns in Aberystwyth and Caernarfon so they are easily sorted but I would like a recommendation for a reasonably priced, bike friendly, hotel or B&B in Llanidloes please.

Re: Llanidloes B&B recommendation
My wife and spent a week in Llanidloes last month. We stayed at the Trewythen Hotel which was very good but I would not describe it as cheap/reasonable. But we did eat a couple of times and drink some beers in the Red Lion, which was good, and their rooms are cheaper than the Trewythen's. So are the Whispering Badger's, where we enjoyed another evening eating and drinking. Nice little town.
