Cycle Touring magazine
Cycle Touring magazine
There is/was a magazine called Cycle Touring - does anyone have details of the publisher please - name/addres etc (I had a sub about 3 years ago but I think the publisher then changed hands - I've Googled and found nothing)
Thanks
Rob

For the avoidance of doubt - the mag I was trying to track down was the one that bikepacker pointed me towards .... the rather quaint tome with black and white pictures, articles about Primus stoves, adverts for Plus-Twos and Argyle socks ... you know the style of thing
Come to think of it, the CTC mag was called Cycle Touring IIRC

The clunkiness of the website just matches the image of the magazine.
None of the "larger image" buttons in back issues do anything, so you're left trying to decipher the content from the thumbnails (Firefox, it worked in IE after I'd disabled the popup blocker).
The "more info" is an email link to cyclingworld@cyclingworldmagizine.co.uk Do they ever get any queries?
I was taught that if you can't say anything positive it's better to say nothing at all...
But in this matter I will make an exception. I also have a subscription to this mag and it is truly awful. I shall resist (with difficulty) saying just how bad it is. Suffice it to say that I shall not be renewing my sub.
There now, I'm feeling guilty already. But at least I'll be £30, or whatever it costs, up compared to last year.

Ah, I think I'm convinced not to make the investment (I had a sub for a year, about 3 years ago and the mag was tolerable - I understand it's changed hands) - and while on the subject, after 4 years of subs I have stopped C+ too - mostly reviews of bling bikes, distorted reviews that are influenced by the advertisers (SJS & Evans) - that just leaves CTC Mag and Audax Arrivee - both "free" well, in the annual sub - excellent.

Clunkiness? It doesn't do anything at all; I'd go as far as to call it bl00dy useless - I tried to order a copy just to see what it was like and the basket didn''t work. Clicked the 'contact' button to tell them about it and all it gives you is the url - which you already know because you're on the site already looking at the contact screen which gives you the url, which you already......
Is this getting like a goon show script?
