A few days spent on Coll and Tiree can be fun (and very easy), they have a very wild island feel to them (especially coll), the full set of fantastic beaches very laid back people, and the ferry trip to make it feel like a real adventure... Interesting wild life, and if you get unlucky very strong winds to add a bit of an edge!

Thank you everyone for your great posts.
I have planned a route along the west coast, into the Outer Hebrides and then along the top! I have decided to just GO FOR IT, so I am off in the morning :D
