Accomodation Along Lon Las

Can anyone recpmmend any cheap hostels/B&B's on the Lon Las route. We are doing it in June and looking for 2 overnight stops along the way. Many Thanks Jay

This has been answered before on the forum.

Try doing some searches on Lon Las or route 8 etc.

Look at where you are planning to stop and ring the nearest TIC.

Not every one uses hostels/B&Bs or chooses to use the same stop over points.

Hi

Try to avoid the Caernarfon area during the first week of June - it's bank holiday, school holiday and Urdd National Eistedfod all at the same time and accomodation is at a premium. Also try to avoid Hay on Wye during that week and the following week - it's the annual festival.

Or take a tent with you.

Thanks for the advice. We've decided to hire a van for the week and a friend is going t meet us at various points and the van will double as accomodation. That way we can pretty much decide on our pace as we go. Thanks again - perhaps we didn't pick the best week!
