My tourer. Built by me on a Dave Yates frame building course. S&S couplings in the top and down tubes allow the bike to be separated into two halves. 26" wheels.

Coming back from the Semaine Federale last year.
To me this is "fully loaded". Red bag has all my camping kit in it and my Campers Longflap is not even extended.

My Dawes Sardar 631, bought in 2004.
I like this bike a lot, it does what I ask of it. We have been to Umbria Italy, the Outer Hebrides (might return again this summer depending on weather), France, Belgium, Spain & Portugal last year.
Had to curtail the tour last year due to the cheap and nasty but overpriced SRAM shifters which prematurely worn out.

Quite a few recumbents, a trike, but no tandems yet. Here is ours on an unusually flat holiday in Belgium - we had a boys holiday for Easter a couple of years ago: two weeks touring (camping) and watching some of the spring classics; this is in the Ardennes (from my Flickr photos).

Yes, spot on! Don't let that dry ground and shadow fool you into thinking I had good weather! The opening scenes of this YouTube Clip shows what it was like when I arrived at the Lochranza camping site. I think everyone who has done the trip would agree it's one not to miss despite varying weather?

Loved Arran but several disasters.
Lost my bike computer in that long hill up to Lochraanza, ferry cancelled on way back from Islay to Arran, lost camera and wallet on way home along side Loch Lommond.
And it rained a bit too
But I went back.........
must be mad.
