Powys Cycling Groups or Clubs ?

I am hoping to be moving to Powys in the near future & can't seem to find many clubs or informal groups in that area other than for mountain biking.
I was going through Newtown a while ago & an event was on & it wasn't a race type one.
When I get to some bike shops I will ask but concentrating on estate agents at the moment !
Does anyone know of any at all please ?

Powys is rather large but not well populated.

Spokes sometimes venture into there.

As do Swansea on some awayday rides. I imagine the same happens further north from Shrewsbury and Chester&North Wales.

The event that you saw could well have been an Audax, though not that common to start in Powys, they often venture in to it.

Thanks for the link & reply, I realize its a big area, just thought someone might know of informal groups that ride out.
I have seen signs of cyclists, usually lone ones or in pairs, I guess when I move I will find out more.
Part of my search criteria is 'good cycling area' !

The national cycling museum just next door in the next town Llandrindod Wells is great, maybe there are some cyclists round there

It's only 28 miles away

We love Powys Paradwys Cymru!

I was in LLandrindod yesterday viewing nearby, I do know of the cycle museum, & have been in that area several times this year.
I guess the paradise of Wales does describe it,

There's Velo Hay in Hay on Wye, organised by the nice people at Drover Cycles

OK, it's only just in Powys, but you didn't say which bit of Powys you wanted...
