I have to confess I haven't gone along and met my local DA. I struggle finding time for rides, but that's not surprising between my job, my family and the fact we go to Church on a Sunday.

I have had the pleasure of meeting some of the local DA members though. And I wondered if anyone here was involved with the Shropshire and Mid Wales DA, so I can at least find out who you are on-line!

I'd like to be involved Ed but they keep ignoring my e-mails. Looking at their website they don't bother much with Mid-Wales anyway so I'm thinking about setting up a club here in Brecon.

How far are you from Brecon dude?

According to GoogleMaps, I'm 90 miles away.

That's a fair old pedal to come to a club I haven't set up yet - but maybe we could meet up halfway somewhere when the weather improves. What do you think?

I'd love the opportunity to come cycling in wales, but it's a very busy year for me with a second child on the way, and probably a relocation to the East Midlands.

I've only cycled in Wales once on my coast to coast and in many respect it was the best part of the ride.
