Ridgeback 3000 miles no problem
Ridgeback World Tourer 2764 miles no problem
Dawes Karakum 1st wheel 148 miles 4 broken spokes
2nd wheel 210 miles 3 broken spokes - on the Danube cycle trail - 9 miles from town - no bike repair - train to Ingolstadt- wheel not worth repairing according to German engineer - German wheel - 900 miles no problem. No compensation should have contacted Dawes to discuss the matter! Discovered wheel part Chinese, part Taiwanese, part Malaysian. Oops though Dawes was quality British. Learned my lesson.
