equipment brackets

Post by mercalia »

I just received this bracket from Hongkong - just £1.65 incl postage and arrived in good time
is thick plastic and could have many uses with or with out the T section - the end bits come off and will insert into the main body so you dont see the hole if thats all you want - I wanted it to attach to the drops to attach a light.

I have ended up attaching to the top section of the Ahead stem and put my computer there - will also add a bell to the T section.

very useful bracket

This is the use I put it to -

Attached to top of Ahead stem

re bell, the T top is where my thumb rests to activate the bell with index finger :)

bracket with computer and bell on it
bracket with computer and bell on it

all attachment surfaces are 23mm in diameter, T or main body

Not bad for £1.65 incl postage :)

The only problem as I see it is that the T section can be removed by a light fingered person as it just pushes in ( tighly ) I may eventually glue it in place

The T section can be put in 2 ways - as the above or horozontally

For a clear handlebar,and a few accessories to contend with I prefer this one:- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MTB-Bike-Flas ... 2263448410

Though looking at Mercalia's set up it may not suit him.
