Post by ndmbike »

Just got this guide as a present.

Clear OS maps and interesting info, as well as all the usual stuff I need when cycling.
It has got me planning on a trip to the isles soon!

Is it a good book? I'm off to the Hebridise in September so grateful for any book recommendations that might make the trip more interesting

Not just covering the Hebridean Way but most of the Hebridean Islands ' Cycling in the Hebrides ' by Richard Barrett available from Cicerone is an excellent book with lots of useful info , highly recommended .

Also just received the Hebridean Way book and it looks to be excellent. The proof will be in the using and I can't wait.

I'd be quite happy with a book that wasn't specific to cycling, one that just tells me about the places to add a bit of interest as I cycle through
