A heads-up ...
Found one of these a couple of days ago in their Gloucester Keys shop https://www.mountainwarehouse.com/runni ... px/yellow/
Feels like a decent enough Winter jacket for the price, worth a look if you are in need of one - probably see them in your local branch
Obviously haven't worn it in freezing weather yet though!

Re: Mountain warehouse jacket
I've had one of these for the past couple of years at least, although in a nicer shade of blue (I think it's called cobalt). Good jacket, very warm & windproof and initially pretty showerproof. As it has aged the waterproofness has worn off quite a bit despite using the reproofing solution.
Luckily I very recently noticed a NOS blue one on E-bay and 'best offered' £20 which was accepted. It is very hard to find the blue one now although the red one is still available here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mountain-Ware ... SwuLZY31t-
I've been up Ben Nevis in October & Ben MacDui in March in mine and remained pretty toastie.....I wasn't on the bike though!! The only downside I would say is that you can get pretty sweaty if you keep it fully zipped up. Good jacket, especially for £20,
All the best, Simon
