Evans Cycles 6 Week Service

Never used this service before, either from Evans or any other bike shop, they all seem to offer it.
So .. dropped my bike off after my LEJOG, told them about the clunky bottom bracket.
Collected it to-day, 3 days later, nothing seems to have been done to it ?
They say the bottom bracket was re-torqued, but no witness marks to the cranks.
The dust on the outer ring undisturbed.
How did they re-torque it without removing the cranks ?
The chain was just as dirty as when i dropped it off, not even oiled !
I suspect i drove 20 miles to deliver it, and 20 miles to collect it ... for no reason, at all.
