After owning a Howies Herald Waterproof Jacket, it made me realise that you can have a practical, cut for cycling waterproof which looks good off the bike.
Sadly I split my Howies on the arm and they no longer had stock, and it was deemed unrepairable by LSR
A lot of my friends rave about the nightvision range, and yes they are very practical, but very very high-vis and very very ...I am a cyclist...
Then I read about the Hurricane - a bit more low key grey unless a light hits it - perfect. Relaxed cut (great for extra layers), very reflective at night, great cut on and off the bike, excellent features and very well made.
I am yet to hit a long enough downpour to defeat the waterproofing and it's even gone out mountain biking several times.
£100 well spent and now my choice for touring rides too
