My path back to long distance cycling was paved by the wonderful Decathlon bikes i rode .. low cost and a joy to ride ..... Actually feel guilty i haven't got one in the stable at the moment.

the £10 or so padded underwear/ undershorts seem to be good. seemed to have solved my problem. I was lucky that the store at Croydon were having a sale and I got a pair of the gel padded ones for just £1 more than the foam padded ones. both are very well made.
