Crrank Brothers 21 piece multi-tool

Post by Simon L6 »

don't, just don't. At over twenty quid, with a shiny case, this is probably a must for blingmeisters - but, trust me, if there has ever been a more awkward piece of kit I've not seen it. Two Parktools will give you about as much, and cost less between them - and you don't need the dexterity of Rachmaninov to work the them.

Hi Simon,

Just had a quick Google. All I can find is a 19 tool.

Where's the 21, so's I can see what you mean?

I guess different multi-tools suit different people or uses but i've the Crank Brothers 19 (i've not heard of 21 either) and use it for club/audax/commuting and mountain biking with no problems. the case takes a spare chain link and small cloth too.

I've got a C/Bros multi tool that has (i've counted)11 tools on it and it does everything I want ie take the bike apart and split the chain (and put it back together. :)
I wonder what 10 more tools can offer! :?
