5 weeks. That gives me a deadline to get back on the bike.

I so wish that I lived further up the country.....these meets are a bloody long way from me and I wish I could get more time off work!

Today's task is changing the wheels on my Galaxy from Dawes own to Quando.....a much better wheel

I may well do that.

Wheels fitted.....next choice......Schrader or Presta. Thinking Presta but anyone know different?

Choice of tyres? I have gone for Schwalbe Road Cruiser but have Schwalbe Marathons on standby....thoughts please

The more rides we get together as a group as we get closer to the main event would be a good. I think ..
A monthly meet / ride Feb - May would be good for us all. ??
A pre main event group ride in the South West could be done on a shared transport basis .. and accommodated at ours in Redruth.

I have a week booked in March.....will have my camper so a spare bed for one is available.....i have booked it to get some serious training in so more than happy to meet up

Meeting up regularly would be good (especially for motivation). I'm hopefully off to visit my brother in Thailand for January (and poss a bit of Feb), but I'll be with you in spirit.....

Not travelling to Thailand.....would cost a fortune in diesel! Lol

Why not just one ride over two or three days? Way of the Roses springs to mind

Nick, yea diesel costs would be high but I'm sure you wouldn't be missing anything......

That would be good. I may well be up for that (as long as it's not January, or part of February)...,,,
