It has been suggested that we use The Way Of The Roses for our 2019 reunion trip, sounds great to me.
I am looking forward to the Rotherham ride but I am having difficulty trying to justify doing a 600mile three day trip to do a 50 mile ride down south. if the group decides they want any other rides I suggest we follow Landsurfers original idea of a central point, this has of course changed as Scotland and Cornwall are now the furthest places

It's wet and windy today so I've been web surfing.
I stumbled across a Lejog video just over an hour long and very entertaining.
It features fellow Wimp MickF giving route advice to a couple of riders and the ride itself.
I recommend it to everyone search u tube for Jo Saraya cycle Lejog

Watched this today and found it quite useful. Some ( a lot ?) of the route coincides with ours so was worth watching.

Watched that last night, enjoyed it.

Any more?

I rode with this girl for about 10mls.

When I asked her what she did for a living she said she was a musician. I assumed, wrongly, she might have been in an orchestra :D I don’t feature in it so it’s easy on the eyes.

If we are looking for a central ride, I'm happy to arrange one around the lovely Rutland county in spring. It's lumpy but the hills are not too long or steep. Good training for the first few days of LEJOG. Some lovely villages and a wonderful bike cafe (Cafe Ventoux) on route.
Easy access from everywhere except Bristol (as I travel there regularly).

Her route looks interesting, lots of off road paths by the look of it.

Had a quick look to see if her route was shown but nothing came up.
Plenty of her music videos etc -

Do I get extra points as it was all ridden non handed.......or do I loose points as it was all done on the turbotrainer on Zwift.
Can I just point out that 1 hour of non handed riding is particularly challenging on one’s undercarriage!

I nearly disqualified you but then I remembered I might need help and encouragement up the hills on Lejog

I’m sure you’ll be more than ready for those hills by June. If not I might give you a sneaky push while no-one’s looking.
