Thanks Pete ... lets all say our piece and make sure the WIMPS do not just fade away ..If we cant all meet up in the same place why not have smaller rides ... Jules and i are happy to play the "Von Trapps" in the Bristol area and just as happy to meet up in Johnstone Bridge / Dumfries for a ride out ...
Maybe rather than trying to get us all together we should try a 2 - 3 WIMP's ride out...

I've ridden with JB and had a meal with Paulatic does this count?
There was talk of doing THE WAY OF THE ROSES as a weekend ride in the spring of next year maybe that is a more favourable idea than a ride in the shorter colder days of this year.IT would give John B more time to recover from his accident and me from my health problems.
I could arrange a November ride in the Durham area if you wish then we could take part in a social evening after the ride.

Or in true WIMPS style to avoid the hills there is the Bay Way ride from Grange over Sands to Glasson dock just south of Lancaster - a picturesque ride around Morecambe bay - 80 miles in total, only 3 hills, one of which has the Sticky Toffee Pudding factory at the top!
