OK .. Chaps and Chapesses ... we did the doodle poll ...
However ... who actually needs transport ?
If you cannot get to the Tamworth area under your own power I will arrange pick up, and return home ...
But common sense applies, if we are picking up from Exeter there is no point in missing out those on route to Tamworth ..ish ..
I hope as many of the Team, riders and support, that made it all happen in June (Linda, Cally and Julie), will join us on the day.
Anyone else's significant other would be very welcome.
As soon as i have numbers ..riders, family etc i can start to look for hotel discounts.
We have deals available with Travelodge and Premier inn.

Sorry Kev ... this puts a certain amount of pressure on you ..or whoever is doing the route.
Starting from a major town / conurbation will always be easier for hotels ....

As you are all probably aware Riley has gone to his "Forever Family" .. We now have our 3 grand children in our permanent care ...
Guess what .. their coming as well !! :D

There are 2 Premier inns and 2 Travelodges in Tamworth.

What is the plan for the weekend other than a ride on Saturday?
Are we going for both a Friday and Saturday social or just one night?
Lynda can get some ideas together for non riders whilst we are out riding or if anyone has anything they particularly want to do let us know.

I'll have a couple of routes ready to choose from by the end of Friday of around 50 miles with a cafe stop about half way round - all on quiet roads.

I can make my own way but if the transport is passing Bristol a lift would be nice. Whatever's easiest David. I'd have offered to bring Nick but my wee car won't take 2 peeps and 2 bikes, so even if we could squeeze us in Chelle would need to hang onto the roof bars (and I don't have any)......

Sorry can't make this date. Youngest grandchild's first birthday and then our youngest "child" has decided to move house that weekend! Hope the weather is kind.

There is a travelodge and a premier inn in the town centre (the premier inn has a Beefeater pub attached)
There are both a travelodge at the Tamworth services and a Premier inn within 1/2 mile of the services.

At the moment the route I've planned starts at the travelodge in the town centre but can easily b changed to start at either of the others.
If prices are comparable on all then I'd suggest either of the 2 town centre ones.
