Nope you are not on your own: Sustrans Route 28 days 50 miles a day. Sounds good to me. The only problem I see is there appear to be stairs to negotiate in Gloucester. Anyway we will see how it goes

But on the bright side, you didn't have to battle that headwind today. I should have stayed home and quaffed ginger wine with whiskey chasers......

I promise it’ll be gone by July no need for a fat bike then but one now would be fun

We have not had a report for a couple of weeks so just to show we are still here.
With a couple of Wimps in the repair shop, and hopefully on the road to a good recovery, the rest are out and about battling against the winter elements.
I don't know how the others are fairing to keep fitness levels up but I have only managed 4 rides this January with 2 of them in the last week. (if it's not raining then it's going to. :x )
Last weeks Strava shows "Flash" with most miles and also climbing.
Followed by myself, John100, Paulatic, Sbcoombs, Softlips & Kft in total miles for the week.
Don't read anything into these figures as it 's just an encouragement to keep the fitness levels up. Most of my miles are done on the flat where that puts me at last place in climbing for the week but 2nd position for total miles. Everyone has to fit their rides in as and when they can depending on circumstances.
You'll never know if you don't try it.

Jules and I still have baby Riley in our care, 11 weeks old now (11 days old when he was placed in our care)... and our grandkids x3 staying with us (!) so the daily routine is now ;
0630 wake gkids up for school, make coffee for Jules and one of us feeds Riley.
0715 school run (12 miles) then off to work.
1400 leave work and do second school run.
1600 home.
1730 dinner for girls
1900 Dinner for the big 4.
1930 girls to bed.
2100 Watch tv.
2200 bed.
In between all this Jules is doing the washing, caring for Riley etc, etc, etc.

SO ..... Not a lot of cycling going on ..

HOWEVER ..... we have had a conference ... and between Jules and Amy (our Daughter) Turbo, Spinning and road sessions will commence 1st February.
HUZZAH !!!
“Quiet, calm deliberation disentangles every knot.”
Be more Mike.
The road goes on forever.

Just sold the turbo.
Mountain bikes and mud just go together.
MTB'ing gives a good workout - rest on the downs and push on the ups. A bit like interval training.

Lovely landsurfer! We have just left our 11 week (November10th) old grandson in total care of daughter for some peace and quiet in Spain- and maybe some warm weather exercise!

Just a couple of little bumps on a bridge - I'd barely call them steps to be honest.

All my miles have been in MTB but mainly in road. Using suspension to ease the shoulder back in slowly. It’s nice to get outside after months of staring at walls.

Working long hours and god awful weather has been against me but using the exercise bike to keep legs rotating. A week off early March so heading to Bath for some serious mileage training
