No one has objected to Oaklands and I am keen to get all the tweaks on the route done by our July ride. It looks like I'm in a minority of one in objecting to the old bridge route so please plan the Bristol section accordingly. The extra 1,000 ft will make the day a lot harder and slower so any reduction in the climbing/mileage ratio is welcome

Just for clarity, I'm easy on the route. I'm joining you lot so will be happy to go with which ever is chosen. I'm still hoping I can spend a night in my own place as we go through, but if it's not practical, no problem.....

Don't tell anybody but the whole route has been designed around an overnight stay at Ecclefechan as my static caravan is there and I will be staying the night with my wife and dog. Check with the backup team so that they don't start looking for you if you go missing, personally I don't see a problem

Lejog ride is last week June first week July 2018 but we are doing a 50 mile get to know the wimps ride around Birmingham 15 July this year. It's not to late to join the wimps we have 12 riders but I'm sure landsurfer would like to add a few more

As long as nobody introduces an upper age limit we should be fine some riders have booked time off work and others have even got their wives permission so at the moment thinks are looking good

An interesting mix on the wimps Strava leaderboard this week with one rider making the top three for the first time. Most distance 127m and longest ride 43 mile were both the same rider as last week and most climbing 4902feet was achieved by me.
