So a few questions:
Do you want me to book somewhere to eat on Friday night or are you happy at the Beefeater?

Any ideas what the non riders want to do on Saturday - the National Arboretum is about 10 miles away (this has a land train to get around it if required), Tamworth has a castle,Ten pin Bowling, Lichfield is about 8 miles away (historic city). There is also Kingsbury Water Park nature reserve, a variety of Craft centres, as well as Conkers that Landsurfer mentioned earlier (or do you want to decide when you get down here?)

We have no issue with the Beefeater ... but are always open to suggestions ...
If it's the beefeater i'll book a table for 12 ... or we just take over the bar area and stay flexible ...
With lots of us stopping at the Prem inn any other venue would be good if in walking distance ....
Don't suppose there is that bastion of fine dining ...Wetherspoons .. in walking distance ...
Or a Chinese/Indian/ Pakistani restaurant of note ... were spoilt up north, we have Akbars ...

Wetherspoons is the other side of town - about 1 mile form the Premier Inn - it's about a 10-15 minute walk into town from the Premier Inn.
We've not eaten at a Chinese in town, (seems to be better for Indian rather than Chinese).

If people don't fancy the Beefeater then it's going to be a drive to get to a pub that can seat a party.

Sausage casserole sounds like a wonderful idea! Chelle and myself are coming up on Friday but will not be bringing a bike as since my elbow injury I haven't ridden much. See you guys Friday

Yes i'm riding ....
Just a thought. Maybe the Arboretum would be a bit of a downer for the non cyclists .... especially due to the date ... and i'm off to the local Cenotaph Sunday morning with Connor, black crombie and medals out for their once a year trip.
Has anyone heard from Steve and Cally ?

I haven't heard anything from them or cycleruk.

Proposed route - all quiet lanes once we are out of town.
