I couldn't say on what day next week so I can't give you any notice, but if I do do the ride, I'll be leaving home about 6am I would think. Maybe earlier. May not make my mind up until the night before.
Weather and mood dependent. I've got to be in a good one, and so has the weather.

Off early tomorrow morning Down West in the car to Camborne to park up to do Bridges 59 to 77 over the A30.
I still have to plan in 53 to 58 by driving to Truro. Couple of weeks time perhaps. Then I have to organise a re-visit to the difficult No30 and No6. If I can do them, I'll have done 'em all! :D

Yep!

Left home at just after 5am, and an hour later I was parked in the long-stay carpark in Camborne. I did bridges west and down to Penzance, then back to the car. Made it back there in just over two hours and sat inside with a snack and a drink, then back out again to do the bridges east. Back at the car by soon after 1pm.

The A30 was almost empty when I drove west. Just over 60miles. One hour drive.
Coming back in the early afternoon, the traffic was exceedingly slow and stop-start all the way from Three Burrows to Carland Cross. The A30 there, is single carriageway, and we were completely stopped for ten minutes on a few occasions.
It took me two and a half hours to get home.

Bridges 59 to 79 all now done.
I really thought that there were 77 bridges, but I found another two. :D

Baby Riley.

For all of you that met Riley on the LEJOG, he has now left us, today ....
loads of tears (us not him ...), off to his "Forever Family" ......
And thats all we wanted for him, a family of his own.
He came to us, 11 days old, for 8 weeks but 9 months later has moved on, .... to a young family that will love him.
He needed a young family, Jules and I are too old.
I would be 76 when he was 16! .. No good.
Hopefully we will both stop crying soon ....................

Yes good news for you both and Riley. It has to be the right decision even though your hearts will be aching. Not sure how many would have done what you've done and at least he's had a good start to his life. Having youngsters in your 20s and 30s is hard enough! Well done both of you.
