Last time I was in that area I'd just be coming out of the pub in Euxton at that hour. :D

Euxton Mills. :D
Know it well.
Been there many times.

Story from 1945 VJ Night ............ not that I was there of course back then.

My Uncle Ron was in the RAF, and he missed the bus back to home to Coppull. His mum - my maternal grandmother - ran a tight household, and he was going to be late home. As he was walking through Euxton, he was dragged into the Euxton Mills - in uniform of course - and fed beer after beer after beer ................ and he arrived home drunk and much later than he expected. His mum laid into him for being drunk AND late home!

I hope someone will tell me I'm wrong but as I post she is shown as stationary, and more significantly something like 17 miles behind schedule. :(

Moving again. :D

Are we talking about the same thing?

I see from the top LH corner of the live link she's now 2h5m ahead of the record, but it seems to me she's 15+ miles behind her own schedule.

Something else I don't understand is the "paused" figure bottom LH corner. I assumed it was her total breaks up to pres. but at one point I thought it was showing a bigger figure. Perhaps just my eyesight.

(If I'm not careful, I'll be the one suffering from sleep deprivation.)

Yes, I too have been wondering about 2 hrs ahead of record yet 1 hr behind in schedule.
All I can think is the difference is the time ahead of the record is the time ahead of Lynne at that point.
The time she is behind on her schedule means she's set her schedule a little ambitious maybe?
Paused time, now 14 minutes I assume us time she's stopped for comfort breaks no doubt. Her first stop was the Star Inn at Winscombe earlier today.

Edit: you are right the paused time keeps wheeling back to 14 mins after a stop showing longer.

Yes, sadly she's had to abandon due to feeling increasingly unwell. Terribly disappointing for her and all concerned. I hope she soon recovers and gets to try again this year before the weather gets too bad.

What a shame, I was up and watching in the small hours and saw the speed dropping and thought something was wrong.
Hope she makes a speedy recovery and I'm sure she'll want another go, though I doubt there'd be time to organise it this year.

Yeah, I was watching the stats' and thought that I was missing something.

She was doing so well until the drop off. A real shame it ended this way. Wishing her a speedy recovery.

Gutted for Jasmijn!!
Kept checking up on her progress throughout yesterday and was so disappointed when, this morning, I saw she had abandoned.
Get well soon Jasmijn.

So sad for Jasmijn after such a great ride, and the whole year preparing!

Me and the missus caught up with her in the early hours at Whitchurch and followed her up to the point where she rejoined the A49 north of Tarporley, even used our car headlights to light up the road to help with at feed at Cholmondeley Castle gates.

She was going Great!

Hope she is OK and recovers quickly and tries again - next year?

Best wishes for Jasmijn and the crew.
