LeJog reading material

Post by Daz393 »

Good evening all.

I'm planning my first LeJog for summer 2018, and at this stage I've made preliminary Strava routes for a 10 day trek. Each day is average 90-95 miles and around 5000ft elevation. I'm wondering if there are any good books to read for planning the route (and which books to avoid) please?

Kind regards

Darren

The blogs on the website on the first post in this topic have much more informative than any of the books I've read

Look at www.cycle-endtoend.org.uk for loads of resources

- I have most of the books available and some are complete rubbish - I would recommend the Cicerone one (but tweak the route around Cumbria) and the one published by Epic (although out of print it's often on the Amazon s/h site)
