Record bid skateboarder rides from John O'Groats to Land's End
A skateboarder has cruised his way from John O'Groats to Land's End in a bid to earn his place in the record books. Jon Holder, from Reepham, Norfolk, completed the 1,025-mile trip in 16 days - five days faster than the previous world record.

Wow!!! Didn't see him on here asking Mick F about the A30! That's some going on a skateboard, 65miles a day!!

Saw him pass through Tiverton. Seemed to have a very relaxed style - a few pushes followed by a lengthy freewheel.

Yonks ago - 2006 - when I did LEJOG and Back, I saw a skateboarder on his way south.
I asked Guinness World Records about my JOGLE on the Raleigh Chopper, but they weren't interested. They don't publish "firsts", only records. How they know which is a record if they're not interested in "firsts", I have no idea.
